Located between Newbury and Basingstoke, Freemantle Park Farm Caravan Site sits on top of the North Hampshire Downs with views over the beautiful Berkshire, Hampshire and Oxfordshire countryside hundreds of feet below. Previously the site was home to King John's hunting lodge with parts of the Deer Leap and Carp Pond still visible today. The site is ideal for those that want a quiet base in a rural retreat away from busy roads but wish to be close to interesting day outs and wonderful walks with breathtaking views. The acre site lies on the edge of an attractive Beech wood with good hard road access from a private road running through the farm. The nearest village is Hannington (1 mile) with an excellent pub, The Vine. Site facilities include an emptying septic tank and water standpipes (drinking and washout) and good local knowledge available from the owner's family who live on the farm. Kingsclere Village (4 miles) has good shops and amenities.
