Hazelwells Farm

Garden Village, Highley, Shropshire, WV16 6BX, Shropshire, WV16 6BX, Highley

Welcome to Hazelwells Farm. Dan and Jess would like to welcome you to Hazelwells Farm, it is a family run working farm, just situated on the Severn Valley overlooking breathtaking views which stretch for miles. Here at the farm are lots of animals to see, ducks, geese, horse, donkeys, bulls, sheep, chickens and the farm dogs who are most welcoming! If you want to pick your own fresh eggs for breakfast, feel free! Highley has a few shops, Co-op and costcutters. There is also a chinese, two indians and a fish and chip shop. Not far from the campsite is a small park and a leisure centre with an outdoor swimming pool if you fancy a dip (seasonal). Just below Hazelwells Farm we have Highley Country Park which offers lots of walks and bicycle routes, there is a cafe within the park and lots of play areas for the children to keep busy. Within the village of Highley, where we are situated, is in walking distance from the Severn Valley railway station, here there is a museum, which offers lots to see and a small walk from there leads to a pub ‘The Ship’ on the side of the river severn which serves great pub grub. You can access the train from Highley station and have a ride into Kidderminster or Bridgnorth. Bridgnorth is our nearest town, in reality, is two towns: the High Town (good views down) and the Low Town (good views up). Now connected by the steepest inland funicular railway in Britain. The Low Town was once a thriving port along the banks of the River Severn, while the High Town held the castle (which now looks like the leaning tower of Pisa), the churches, and many fine 16th and 17th century mansions. There are lots of lovely little shops and restaurants to choose from and plenty of antique shops. Bridgnorth also has a cinema. Here at Hazelwells we are sure you will find lots to see and do, we hope you enjoy your stay with us.
