Our CL is in a quiet location, set on a field with large hard standing pitches (40ft length) each with individual electric hook-up. All family members welcome including your pet dog. There is plenty of space on the field to set up a family game of rounder's, or just let the kids run. We welcome large motorhomes and 5th wheelers. We have onsite recycling/waste disposal an Elson and Water points. A bus stop is located outside the entrance to the CL site, that can take you to Maldon, Chelmsford or Burnham On Crouch or head out to the train station to get into London which is only 40 miles away. There are local shops within a couple of miles of the site, a Promenade Park and Hythe Quay that holds the famous Maldon Mud Race! Maldon is also renowned for its maritime heritage, with boat cruises lasting up to 2 hours. There is also a Museum of Power and Combined Military Museum within 5 miles of the site. For the kids there is Madison Heights within a mile, wear them out in Monkey Puzzle or take them skating or get the balls spinning in a game of bowling.
