Sweet Knowle Farm, Stratford-Upon-Avon, Warwickshire , CV37 8NR, Warwickshire, CV37 8NR, Stratford-Upon-Avon

Sweet Knowle is a simple, back to basics site based on our working arable farm The site is open all year round but we use the hard standing rather than the grass during the winter months The site is peaceful and offers views across open countryside and lakes The site is mown regularly but there are some sloping areas so levelling blocks are required The site has drinking water, shared toilets, chemical waste point, refuse and recycling bins all within easy access Dogs are most welcome on the site and visitors are encouraged to enjoy the unspoilt rural environment with walks around the farm The farm is a haven for wildlife with plenty of waterfowl to be observed including ducks, swans, geese, moorhens, coots and herons (we have a heronry on the farm) and other birds including buzzards, red kites, little owls, reed warblers. We also have deer, hares, foxes so bring your binoculars The site is on the edge of The Cotswolds AONB so is perfectly situated for visiting the picturesque towns and villages of The Cotswolds, such as Chipping Campden (8 miles), Broadway (13 miles) and Bourton on the Water (20 miles) The town of Stratford upon Avon is 5 miles away with Shakespeare’s Birthplace, Ann Hathaway’s Cottage, RSC theatre, boating on the river and lots more National Trust properties close by include Hidcote (6 miles), Charlecote Park (8 miles), Upton House (13 miles), Snowshill Manor (15 miles), Coughton Court (16miles), Packwood House (20 miles) & Baddesley Clinton (21 miles) Warwick Castle (13 miles) & Kenilworth Castle (19 miles) British Motor Museum (17 miles) There are plenty of dog friendly pubs within a short drive from the site, all offering great food.
