A bus service passes the site and can take you into Caernarfon itself to enjoy the castle and the Welsh Highland Railway that goes from Carnarfon through Dinas and on to Porthmadog. A short drive away will take you over the Menai Bridge to the Isle of Anglesey or onto the Lleyn Peninsula. The coast leading down to the Peninsula has ideal beaches suitable for families and water sports.
