Fartown Farm is a well-established family run CL site, set in the heart of the beautiful Worcestershire country side. There are 5 individual level pitches, with both hard standing and a grassed area for pitching awning's at no extra cost, each surrounded with a mature well maintained hedging providing privacy during your stay, each pitch has electric hook up and far reaching views across open farm land and country side. Just a short walk through a gate at the end of the site the Bell Inn can be found which is a Camera Award winning public house specialising in real ales, ciders and perry. In fact Worcestershire Camera voted it pub of the decade. The pub serves home cooked food in their restaurant, traditional bar or the "snug" all of which have a welcoming open fires in the winter. The site is conveniently located to access many of the local towns which include Stourport Upon Severn (15 minutes) Worcester (25 minutes) Bewdley (15 minutes) Kidderminster (20 minutes) Cleobury Mortimer (10 minutes) and Ludlow (30 minutes). There are a number of other local attractions, which do not show up in the attractions and events section below. These include the Severn Valley Railway, Shesley Walsh Hill Climb, the oldest operational motorsport venue in the world, the West Midlands Safari Park, the Three Counties Showground, Ludlow with has several food and cultural festivals throughout the year and a historic castle and the river Severn and Teme. There is also some fantastic walking in the area both from the site and in the wider area. Check the Worcestershire County Council Website for more information. The Worcestershire Way which goes from Bewdley to Malvern taking in some of Worcestershire's finest scenery passes very close to the site and there are many wonderful footpaths in the area. The site is approached down a lane (about 200 meters) off the B4202 which is a popular route from the M5 through to Mid and North Wales heading through to Ludlow and the Welsh boarder towns of Welshpool and Newtown. Many travellers use the site as a convenient stop to break up their journey. The site is not suitable for RV type units as access to the site and some of the pitches is tight.
