The site is a great base for exploring the surrounding area. The High Peak trail is adjacent with direct access. The Tissington trail is nearby as is the picturesque village of Hartington with its famous cheese shop. The site is also a great base for exploring the market towns of Bakewell, Buxton and Ashbourne and the famous Chatsworth House, all within easy reach.
