The Hills can be accessed on foot from the site by walking along the common, which is also handy for dog walking. Gullet Quarry is about 2 miles and the top of the Malverns around 2.5 miles. The village shop is 0.50m away. The Three Counties showground is 3 miles and the steam rally 1.5 miles.
