This site is one of the most peaceful sites you will find, with views of over 5 miles which change with the seasons. You get sunrise to sunset and is sheltered from any prevailing breeze. It is situated close to York with all its attractions, but only around an hour from various seaside resorts, Whiteby, Scarborough, Bridlington and various market towns inbetween. We have the home of TV series Brideshead revisited a short distance away, Castle Howard North York Moors are on the way to Whitby as well. In the other direction you have the Spa town of Harrogate and the Yorkshire Dales beyond. Services locally include small Co-op, various pubs, restaurants, takeaways, some which will deliver to site if you wish. Large supermarkets are about 15 minutes away.
