Situated in the quiet river valley of Woodbridge Brook, Southfield is a working family dairy farm where the cows can be seen milking and roaming the meadow grass. A large, gently sloping two acre mown site has been established here over 40 years for the enjoyment of Club members. On foot, the historic market town of Malmesbury with its 13th Century Abbey and gardens, local shops, traditional free-houses and Waitrose supermarket is just half an hour stroll across the fields, running alongside the River Avon where fishing is also available. Otherwise a five minute walk up the lane from the site and into the village of Lea passing a play park for children, the church and the local pub with a great beer garden that serves food. Exploring the surrounding area - why not visit Westonbirt Arboretum, the Cotswolds and Water Parks, Avebury and Stonehenge ancient circles or the City of Bath. All of these places are easily accessible by car. Dogs and children are very welcome. Grass pitches and a hard standing for out of season use. Simple fixed rate of £12 per night includes 16 Amp hookup. Any questions? Please call Melanie. Feel free to text outside normal hours.
