You may be looking for an adults only peaceful getaway with uninterrupted views across the fields, stunning sunsets and dark, starry skies along with a short or longer break nestled in the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. You will be perfectly placed for exploring the Cotswolds, Bath, Castle Combe and Lacock and the many other lesser known and equally beautiful villages of Wiltshire, Somerset and Gloucestershire. No set pitches on a wonderful lawned full acre site. The setup will suit those who want a simple break and have all they need with them. We do have a simple loo. Handy for the M4 but quiet and teeming with wildlife, you can expect to see resident ponies and sheep along with wilder visitors such as red kites, buzzards, hares, deer, foxes and badgers. It will not work on your computerJust 9 miles from Bath you may like to visit the Roman Baths or one of many other attractions in the city. North Wiltshire often attracts visitors who are day-tripping to ancient sites such as Stonehenge and Avebury. All around are preserved aspects of the Neolithic; both well-known and mostly unheard of. Wonderful farm shop less than 3 miles away and we are four miles from a choice of supermarkets. Many of the villages have local produce and fantastic eateries. Half a mile down the lane is the acclaimed (and dog friendly) White Hart at Ford with plentiful comfortable outdoor space by the river. If it is a special occasion book yourselves dinner at Marco Pierre White's quirky Rudloe Arms or The Bybrook Restaurant at The Manor, Castle Combe.
