Dakota Park caravan site is on the B1192 just outside Coningsby. We are a small 5 van Certificated Location with friendly and helpful staff. Self catering cottage also available adjacent. We have a pretty site with some stunning sunsets and sunrises. Just up the road is RAF Coningsby and ""The Battle of Britain memorial flight"" so we get plenty of action with all types of planes from the old Chipmunks, spitfires, the Dakota and the Lancaster to the up-to-date Typhoons etc. If it's a peaceful quiet site you want then this is not the place, the planes fly regularly during the week and very often a display is put on with the pilots training for the big shows. It can get very exciting especially when they are flying right over your head! We have even built a 10 foot high bank so you can get a better view of the planes. There are a lot of country pubs with home cooked food, cafes, Chinese, Italian and Indian restaurants. We are close to Skegness, Lincoln ,Woodhall Spa and Boston.
£18.00 metered hook ups, all electric charged at cost. A £20 deposit for electric will be required upon arrive then returned on departure once electric is paid for.
We have a one bedroom modern holiday cottage on the park which has a kitchen/lounge with oven, microwave, hob, dishwasher and TV , reclining sofa and a dining table and chairs. The bedroom is large and has a king sized bed, wardrobe, dressing table and chair, a comfy chair and a day bed. There is a shower room with large shower, toilet and sink. Fully central heated. Own Parking area. Garden with decking and table, chairs and parasol. Runway Cottage is next to the caravan park for your family.
