Our CL is on a 350 acre farm which is a working arable farm but run with wildlife conservation and horses in mind. We are in the higher level environment scheme trying to increase the numbers of skylarks and English partridge in the local area, we have been doing this for nearly 10 years. We have a family of four sons one of whom is eventing full time hence the equestrian facilities.The CL site is located next to the horse dressage area in a quiet, small grass field enclosed by hedges. There are 5 hard standing pitches all with their own electric (16 amp) and water supplies. Pitches 1 and 2 are extra large and level and suitable for RV's and/or caravans. Each pitch is wide enough for your awning to be on the hard standing. You are likely to see buzzards and red kites soaring over the site as well as lots of small songbirds and of course partridge and pheasant. We are in a very quiet area (designated as an 'area of outstanding natural beauty') just outside the village of Arkesden.
Due to increase electric cost £25.00per night for all 5 pitches from Oct1st to May 1st

Adults, children and pets are all welcome. There is access to toilets in the Farm Buildings that are shared with the farm and stable staff. There is Wi-Fi available in the farm kitchen. All waste & rubbish disposal is available in the corner of the site next to the recycling bin by the entrance,

It will not work on your computerThe Axe and Compass pub in the village is extremely popular and very good, has been run by the same family for the last 20 years, and is a 10-minute walk from the farm. There are numerous other good pubs locally including a Thai pub in the next village. Booking is recommended for all of them, particularly at weekends.
