Known as 'The Gateway to the Lakes' Warton sits near the Lancashire / Cumbria border and nicely on the edge of Morecambe Bay. A real countryside feel but yet only a few minutes from J35 M6. As well as the attractions below Warton has a Church and Old Rectory ruins managed by English Heritage. There is a stock car track which holds meetings on some Sundays through their season and is worth a visit.
