Our award winning CL site is nestled within the rural North Yorkshire countryside, near Skipwith, approximately 8 miles south of the beautiful City of York. - Shower and toilet facility - Spacious grass & 3 hardstanding pitches - Price includes 2 adults, 1 vehicle & awning (please use breathable groundsheets for more than a 2 night booking) - Heated cabin with quality Shower (coin operated machine that takes 20p coins for the shower) and 2 toilets - Well behaved dogs welcome (to be kept on a lead), more than 2 dogs by special arrangement, please contact us. - Dog exercise area - Walk to Skipwith village, Skipwith Common or The Drovers Arms (approx 3km each way) - Open all year round (good draining sandy land for the winter months and 3 hard standing pitches) - Free Wi-Fi - 16amp metered EHU - Drinking water and grey waste point - Elsan disposal and recycling facilities - 3 night minimum booking from April - September to avoid dissapointing those of you who wish to stay longer
Our pitch pitches are from £21 per pitch per night and additional charges are as follows: Due to the rising costs our EHU’s are now metered and charged per kwH, this is charged at cost price and is on a varible rate £2 per additional adult per night £1.50 per child (over 2 years and 16 years and under) per night Coin operated luxury shower (takes 20p coins (20p per minute (80p recommended))

Our small farm is only a few minutes drive away from Skipwith Common, which includes some waymarked trails for you to enjoy. Below are some ideas of where to visit: Skipwith Common NNR (dogs to be kept on lead or can run off their lead in a special Canine Car Park & Walk area) Little Skipwith Carriage Rides - horse drawn carriage rides around the private grounds of Escrick Park Estate Lower Derwent Valley NNR (no dogs allowed) – you can see their blog with some lovely local wildlife pictures Stillingfleet Lodge Gardens – please check their opening times on their website, they also hold workshops and events – dogs welcome in grass car park Wheldrake Ings Nature Reserve (no dogs allowed) Cycle the Solar System to York – a short drive to a car park or for those who cycle regularly you can start from our CL Fishing at Oakmere , Westerly Lake & Raker Lakes Naburn Locks with nearby Waterfront Cafe at Naburn Marina or Blacksmith Arms (dog friendly) Selby Abbey – historic building almost a 1000 years old (dog friendly) City of York - Lots to see and do in and around the city
